From Every Spartan to Eight Universities: Every Collegiate Apparel™ Is Growing
Eight universities. Eight traditions. One growing mission to make collegiate apparel more inclusive.

What began with one idea at Michigan State University is becoming something much bigger.
The idea was simple:
What if collegiate apparel did a better job of including everybody who loves the school?
Not by creating a separate identity for people with disabilities.
Not by putting adaptive apparel somewhere off to the side.
And not by asking fans who need different clothing construction to sacrifice the school colors, designs, traditions, and identity everybody else gets to celebrate.
Instead:
Traditional and adaptive apparel. Together.
Same school.
Same traditions.
Same community.
Different options for different people.
That idea became Every Spartan™.
And from Every Spartan grew an even bigger question:
What if we could do this at other universities too?
Today, we're incredibly proud to share just how far that question has already taken us.
Every Collegiate Apparel™ has now reached a major milestone with eight additional universities confirmed as part of our growing collegiate expansion.
Eight universities.
Eight distinct traditions.
Eight passionate fan communities.
And one growing mission:
Every Ability. Every Moment. Every School.
Where It Started: Every Spartan™
Before there was Every Collegiate Apparel, there was Every Spartan™.
Michigan State wasn't selected as a test market from a spreadsheet.
It was personal.
It's home.
It's where the idea began.
And Every Spartan was built around a belief that continues to guide everything we're doing today:
Adaptive describes how clothing is constructed. It doesn't describe how much someone belongs.
A Spartan using adaptive clothing isn't a different kind of Spartan.
A wheelchair user isn't participating in a different Michigan State tradition.
A fan who needs an alternative closure isn't cheering for a different team.
The clothing construction may differ.
The identity doesn't.
Different Construction. Same Spartan Pride.
That philosophy became the foundation for something that could extend far beyond one campus.
Every Collegiate Apparel™ was born from the belief that the same conversation should be happening throughout collegiate apparel.
And now it is.
Meet the Eight Universities Joining the ECA Journey
Every university has its own identity.
Its own traditions.
Its own colors.
Its own history.
Its own generations of students, alumni, families, faculty, employees, athletes, and fans.
That's why Every Collegiate Apparel isn't about taking one generic concept and changing the logo eight times.
Each university community deserves to be celebrated as itself.
So let's welcome them.
🔱 Arizona State University — Every Sun Devil
Arizona State brings one of the most recognizable identities in collegiate athletics to the growing Every Collegiate Apparel family.
Maroon and gold.
Sun Devil pride.
A passionate university community that stretches well beyond campus.
With Every Sun Devil, the ECA mission expands west with the same philosophy that started at Michigan State:
Different people may need different apparel options.
They shouldn't need a different fan identity.
Whether someone chooses traditional or adaptive construction, the point isn't the clothing category.
It's what the clothing represents.
Sun Devil pride belongs to Sun Devils.
🐾 University of Arizona — Every Wildcat
Next comes Arizona.
Different Arizona university.
Different colors.
Different rivalry.
Definitely a different fan base.
And that's exactly what makes collegiate apparel so powerful.
School identity matters.
For generations of Wildcats, wearing university colors is a way of saying:
This is my school.
This is my team.
This is my community.
Every Wildcat gives us another opportunity to carry ECA's inclusion-first philosophy into a university community with traditions entirely its own.
Because accessibility shouldn't require giving up identity.
Different Construction. Same Wildcat Pride.
🐔 University of Delaware — Every Blue Hen
The ECA map also now reaches Delaware.
With Every Blue Hen, we're continuing to demonstrate that inclusive collegiate apparel isn't an idea that belongs to one region of the country or one type of university.
The need for better choice isn't regional.
Belonging isn't regional.
School pride certainly isn't regional.
From Michigan to Delaware and beyond, students, alumni, families, and fans want to represent the institutions that mean something to them.
Our job is to continue exploring how more people can have meaningful options for doing exactly that.
Welcome, Blue Hens.
🐯 LSU — Every Tiger
Few things demonstrate the power of collegiate identity quite like the traditions surrounding LSU.
Purple.
Gold.
Saturday traditions.
Generations of Tiger pride.
And now Every Tiger becomes part of the growing Every Collegiate Apparel story.
This is where our mission becomes especially exciting.
Because the universities are different.
The fan experiences are different.
The traditions are different.
But the underlying question remains remarkably consistent:
Who gets to participate?
Our answer is the direction built into our name.
Every.
Not as a claim that we've solved every apparel need.
But as a commitment to keep expanding who gets considered.
Welcome to ECA, Tigers.
🦅 Miami University — Every RedHawk
Ohio brings another new chapter with Every RedHawk.
Each new university reminds us why we never wanted Every Collegiate Apparel to become a generic national brand that erases what makes individual schools special.
College pride is personal.
People remember:
Their first day on campus.
Their favorite professor.
The friends they made.
The games they attended.
The traditions they learned.
Graduation.
Homecoming.
Family weekends.
The moment they realized the university had become part of their identity.
That emotional connection is what collegiate apparel represents.
Adaptive construction shouldn't weaken it.
It should provide another way to participate in it.
Every RedHawk belongs to the same RedHawk community.
🐯 Towson University — Every Tiger
Towson holds an especially meaningful place in the ECA growth story.
As one of the earlier universities to become part of our expansion, Towson helped turn the idea of Every Collegiate Apparel from:
“Could this work beyond Michigan State?”
into:
“Yes. Now let's keep building.”
Towson also gives us a fun reminder that collegiate mascots can overlap while university identities absolutely do not.
LSU Tigers and Towson Tigers each belong to their own history, colors, traditions, and communities.
That's why ECA collections aren't simply about mascot names.
They're about university identity.
Every Tiger at Towson is Towson.
And we're proud to have that community as part of this journey.
⛏️ UNC Charlotte — Every 49er
With Every 49er, Every Collegiate Apparel continues growing into another distinct university community.
Charlotte green and gold carry their own meaning.
Their own history.
Their own traditions.
And their own people.
That's the common thread connecting every university in this announcement.
Not sameness.
Belonging.
The goal isn't to make eight schools look alike.
It's to create an inclusive apparel philosophy flexible enough to respect what makes each school different.
Traditional construction.
Adaptive construction.
Different choices.
One 49er community.
🔴 University of Utah — Every Utah Fan
And our Utah collection has a name we're proud to officially establish:
Every Utah Fan
That wording is intentional.
Because ultimately, this entire movement is about the people who make collegiate traditions matter.
Students.
Alumni.
Parents.
Families.
Faculty.
Staff.
Lifelong supporters.
Disabled fans.
Nondisabled fans.
People attending their first game.
People whose families have been connected to a university for generations.
There are countless ways to belong to a university community.
Every Utah Fan puts that community at the center.
And we're excited to welcome Utah into the next chapter of Every Collegiate Apparel.
Eight Universities—But This Isn't Really a Story About a Number
Eight is a milestone.
We're proud of it.
We should celebrate it.
But if this were simply about collecting university licenses, we'd be missing the point.
The real significance is what each university represents.
Another community.
Another conversation.
Another opportunity.
Another group of people who may someday walk into a college store or visit an online shop and have more choices than they had before.
That's the Goal
We aren't trying to create a separate universe of “special clothing.”
We're trying to help make inclusive options a more ordinary part of collegiate apparel.
That difference matters.
Traditional + Adaptive Belong Together
Imagine walking into a college store.
You see:
T-shirts.
Hoodies.
Quarter-zips.
Polos.
Hats.
Jackets.
Accessories.
Then somewhere else—perhaps on a separate webpage, in a separate department, or not available at all—is adaptive apparel.
Why?
If two shirts celebrate the same university, why should the customer needing different construction feel separated from the main collegiate-apparel experience?
Start With the Identity
Wildcat.
Tiger.
Blue Hen.
RedHawk.
49er.
Sun Devil.
Utah fan.
Spartan.
That's what customers are there to celebrate.
Construction comes second.
This is the larger idea behind Every Collegiate Apparel:
Adaptive apparel belongs in collegiate apparel. Period.
Not hidden.
Not treated as an afterthought.
Not presented as something outside the traditional fan experience.
Together.
Adaptive Doesn't Mean One Thing
Just as these eight universities aren't interchangeable, people with disabilities aren't interchangeable either.
There is no universal adaptive garment that works for everybody.
Different people may benefit from different features related to:
Closures.
Openings.
Seated-wear construction.
Waistbands.
Lengths.
Dexterity.
Range of motion.
Dressing assistance.
Positioning.
Comfort.
And other individual needs.
Choice Matters
That's why we should be careful about saying:
“This is what disabled people need.”
A better approach is:
“Here are additional options. Which one works for you?”
Every doesn't mean one product fits everybody.
It means we keep working to include more people in the conversation.
Accessibility and Style Shouldn't Be Opposites
Functional clothing still has to be clothing.
People want to look good.
They want choices.
They have favorite colors.
Favorite fits.
Favorite designs.
Favorite teams.
A person doesn't stop caring about style because a garment needs adaptive construction.
School Pride Is Part of the Product
If somebody wants an Arizona Wildcats shirt, they don't merely want an accessible shirt that happens to fit.
They want an Arizona Wildcats shirt.
If someone loves LSU, the purple and gold matter.
If someone is a Blue Hen, Delaware matters.
If someone is a Spartan, green and white matter.
That's why collegiate adaptive apparel has to begin with collegiate identity—not simply function.
The Role of GAMUT Certified Adaptive Apparel
As Every Collegiate Apparel grows, product quality, accessibility, and credibility matter tremendously.
That's why we're proud of our relationship as:
Exclusive Collegiate Partner for GAMUT Certified Adaptive Apparel.
GAMUT certification creates an important framework around adaptive products while allowing Every Collegiate Apparel to focus on something equally important:
Bringing those products into collegiate communities.
Because developing adaptive products is one part of the equation.
Making meaningful collegiate options available is another.
And expanding those options school by school is the work ahead.
Why University Licensing Matters
Collegiate apparel isn't simply a matter of putting a university logo on a shirt.
Universities protect their names, trademarks, colors, logos, and identities through licensing.
That's important.
Those marks represent institutions and communities.
Every university relationship we build therefore represents another step in doing this the right way.
Not shortcuts.
Not unofficial merchandise.
Not simply imagining what a collection could look like.
Real Collegiate Partnerships Require Real Work
Applications.
Conversations.
Approvals.
Agreements.
Product development.
Brand standards.
Compliance.
Relationships.
And trust.
So when we say eight universities, we're not talking about eight mockups sitting on a computer.
We're talking about the foundation for eight real university collections.
That's why this milestone means so much to us.
Growth With Purpose
Expansion can become a numbers game.
How many schools?
How quickly?
How big?
That's not how we want to measure Every Collegiate Apparel.
Of course we want to grow.
There are universities across the country we'd love to welcome.
But growth has to serve the mission.
More Schools Means More Communities
That's the metric that matters.
Every additional university creates another opportunity to introduce:
More choice.
More representation.
More visibility.
More conversations about adaptive apparel.
More disabled fans seeing themselves as part of the traditional collegiate experience.
That's what makes growth meaningful.
Representation Should Be Ordinary
One of our goals is simple:
We want disability representation in collegiate apparel to stop feeling unusual.
A wheelchair user wearing university apparel at a tailgate shouldn't automatically become an inspirational advertisement.
A disabled student buying a sweatshirt doesn't need a special story explaining why they belong.
A fan using adaptive apparel shouldn't have to justify why school identity matters to them.
Sometimes a Fan Is Just a Fan
Cheering.
Tailgating.
Celebrating.
Complaining about officiating.
Taking pictures.
Meeting friends.
Watching the band.
Singing the fight song.
Being part of the moment.
That's belonging.
And that's the kind of representation we want to see more often.
“Every” Is a Commitment, Not a Claim of Perfection
We've always been intentional about this.
Every Collegiate Apparel does not claim:
Every university is available.
Every disability is represented.
Every adaptive need has been solved.
Every product works for every person.
We're growing.
We're learning.
We're listening.
We're building.
Every Is the Direction We're Moving
Listen.
Learn.
Design.
Improve.
Represent.
Expand.
Repeat.
The eight universities we're celebrating today aren't the finish line.
They're evidence that the journey is underway.
From East Lansing to Something Bigger
There's something meaningful about looking at this list and remembering where it started.
Michigan State University.
One campus.
One idea.
One question about who was being left out of collegiate apparel.
Now look at the map.
Michigan.
Arizona.
Delaware.
Louisiana.
Ohio.
Maryland.
North Carolina.
Utah.
Different regions.
Different conferences.
Different campuses.
Different traditions.
Different colors.
Different mascots.
Same Fundamental Belief
College traditions mean something because of the people who carry them forward.
And more of those people deserve to see themselves considered in the apparel representing those traditions.
And We're Not Finished
These eight universities represent our current milestone.
They do not represent the limits of the vision.
Additional university conversations and licensing efforts continue as we carefully expand Every Collegiate Apparel.
We won't announce schools before they're ready to be announced.
We won't treat an application like an approval.
And we won't measure success solely by how quickly we can add names to a list.
But we can say this:
We're just getting started.
The question that began with Every Spartan is now being asked at universities across the country:
What would collegiate apparel look like if we designed the experience with more people in mind?
We're excited to keep finding out.

Which eight universities are part of this expansion?
The eight universities highlighted in this milestone are Arizona State University, University of Arizona, University of Delaware, LSU, Miami University (Ohio), Towson University, UNC Charlotte, and University of Utah.

Will Every Collegiate Apparel add more universities?
Expansion is an ongoing part of the ECA vision. New schools should only be publicly presented as confirmed when the appropriate licensing process has been completed.
Eight Universities. One Growing Mission.
This milestone is worth celebrating.
Not because eight is a magic number.
Because eight used to be zero.
There was a time when Every Collegiate Apparel was simply the answer to a question:
Could the mission behind Every Spartan become something bigger?
Today, we know the answer.
Arizona State.
Arizona.
Delaware.
LSU.
Miami University.
Towson.
UNC Charlotte.
Utah.
Eight university communities now help answer:
Yes.
And behind every school name are people.
Students.
Alumni.
Parents.
Families.
Employees.
Faculty.
Fans.
Disabled and nondisabled.
People whose university identity is part of their story.
We're building Every Collegiate Apparel for that bigger picture.
Not separate pride.
Not separate traditions.
Not a separate corner.
More choices within the same community.
What started with:
Every Ability. Every Moment. Every Spartan.
is growing into:
Every Ability. Every Moment. Every School.
And we're only getting started.
